DECEMBER 2006 OVERVIEW!!
With the rising Moon in Aries crossing the eastern horizon (ascendant) of the world horoscope from the first day of December, as well as the Sun clashing with Uranus (planet of sudden and unexpected happenings) by the full Moon on December 5, we can expect this month’s planetary indicator to be full of abrupt and unanticipated happenings around the globe. Throughout December especially when Mercury (planet of negotiations and communication) enters the persuasive zodiac sign of Sagittarius from the 8th, we may witness much political and economic upheaval, social injustice, global opinion, legal manoeuvres, sanctions and a formal retirement parade for many government and major corporate officials.
To top it off, when Mars (planet of demand and intensity) enters the fire sign of Sagittarius from the 6th global weather patterns are anticipated to be extreme, with excessive heat waves, drought conditions, water restrictions, bush fires, tropical thunder storms, cyclones, and unusual tidal conditions in the southern hemisphere. Whilst the northern hemisphere can expect, severe cold conditions, heavy or unusual snow falls, floods, land-slides and extremely heavy seas. This is also a month for seismic activity, electrical faults, explosions, rail and road hazards, aircraft accidents and increased terrorism. December is predicted to create havoc for farmers and suppliers in the food chain with complications and disruptions with consumer goods and services.
Many consumer shortages are forecast throughout this month, creating price increases which in turn will create inflated credit card debt stretching the family budget to record highs. Although inflation will be on the increase in December and household savings are predicted to be at an all time low, whilst Mercury transits the social and spend-thrift sign of Sagittarius until December 28, there appears to be no increase in federal bank interest rates for this month. With retail and on-line shopping, expect an increase in electronic shopping throughout December, with an emphasis on flat screen TV’s, sound systems and home theatres, laptop computers, ipod, GPS navigation and cell phones. Remember to shop around and haggle hard, you will certainly get a bargain whilst Mercury (sales) transits the zodiac sign of Sagittarius.
The stock market will be subject to volatile trading this month due to an assortment of adverse planetary aspects affecting global situations, which in turn will influence international currencies and commodities throughout this month. With many investors and consumers concerned about the current and future financial conditions around the globe, there appears to be continuous caution with equities. However, the market may get a shove in the right direction after the 11th, which could push the markets upward significantly due to predicted mergers and takeover in telecommunications, publishing and media, retail chains, transport and motor industries, computers and accessories. Oil prices should be relatively stable and in some cases could slightly soften throughout December, however, with an increase in domestic use and seasonal travel, fuel cost are anticipated to fluctuate, especially on the 9th, 11th, 13th, 19th, 20th, 25th, 26th and 30th. Travel costs are predicted to remain high with international airlines and transport companies predicted to continue with exorbitant fares, immaterial of lower fuel costs to consumers. No reduction is indicated.
This will be an interesting month for real estate, with an increase in sales for quality expensive homes and apartments, when Venus (planet of beauty) enters the business and housing sign of Capricorn on the 11th. This will be followed from the 28th when Mercury (planet of sales and contracts) commences a transit through Capricorn until mid January 2007. With an increase in government and corporate personnel changing locations over the holiday season and into February 2007, real estate sales are predicted to flourish. Unfortunately, quality housing stock may be low, so if you have a dwelling and wish to make a quick sale and get your price, you have eight weeks to capitalise on the seasonal market and you could be laughing all the way to the bank. This is also a profitable cycle for those who wish to refurbish, restore or redecorate a property for occupation or sale.
This is a profitable month for those involved with hotel and resorts, horse racing, gambling and casino’s, tour operators, travel agents, cruise lines, airlines, recreational boat and fishing, mobile phone distributors, retail electronic outlets, indoor and outdoor furniture, news agents, hardware and home suppliers, bottled water suppliers, service garages and fuel outlets, publishing, recording industry and specialty department stores. This month brings much happiness and joy to many of those anticipating enrolment with universities in 2007, especially those interested in subjects relating to law, medicine, political science, communications, accountancy, business management, ministry or religious studies. Trade placements for apprenticeships are also looking bright for 2007.
Take care in this month of December, remember this is a month of sudden and unexpected happenings and if you envisage travel, allow yourself plenty of time to get from A to B. With Mercury and Mars in Sagittarius, impatience will be difficult to deal with, especially with crowds and busy traffic. AN ASTROLOGICAL PROFILE OF NICOLE KIDMAN AND KEITH URBAN
Keith Urban was born on October 26, 1967 in New Zealand and has his natal Sun in the zodiac sign of Scorpio.
